Camellia
Erect growing, bushy shrub with mid-green very small leaves on layered graceful branchlets. Through spring the bush is profusely covered with small, fragrant single white flowers opening from reddish buds. Lovely as a dainty specimen or hedge. Prefers a sheltered site with good soils, though will tolerate dry conditions. 2-3m tall.
