Ebbinge’s Silverberry

Greek Olive

Selection from Greece. A dense, bushy tree. Ideal for hedging, screening and shaping. Excellent as a street tree. Great for containers. Self-fertile but does not usually fruit well in New Zealand. Fruit ripens in autumn. 4m tall x 3m wide in ten years.

A dense ground cover with wiry stems and small dark green leaves. Flowers prolifically in summer with masses of small creamy flowers. Prefers full sun. Tolerant of hot, dry conditions. Semi-deciduous. Hardy. 0.2m high x 1m wide.

Commonly known as Tractor Seat plant, it is an evergreen perennial plant. Large rounded, glossy leaves that resemble the shape of an old tractor seat. In summer, it produces striking yellow-orange flowers on long stems. Grows best in partial shade, moist, well-drained conditions. Great for shady spots in the garden. 0.4 tall x 0.6 wide
